There was beginner’s luck for Dorothy McCormick who is the latest winner in our £50 EK, East Kilbride gift card competition.

The mum-of-two from The Murray was delighted to learn that her entry had been picked out the hat.

“It was the first time I’d entered the competition and I was delighted to get the call,”said Dorothy, who has big plans for her voucher.

“I’m a mum of two wee ones so I might use the card to start my Christmas shopping.”
