Road closures affecting East Kilbride and Avondale:

●BRUNEL WAY. Closed between The Murray Road and Beefeater car park entrance to 11pm on Wednesday, February 7 for carriageway surfacing.

HUME PLACE. Closed between Livingstone Drive and its termination from 7am on Wednesday, February 7 to 11pm on Friday, February 9 for carriageway surfacing.

●MOSSNEUK AVENUE. Closed between the junction of Forth Grove and No 25 Forth Court from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday, March 11 for a manhole repair. Alternative route is Greenhills Road, Eaglesham Road, Westwood Road, Westwood Hill and Mossneuk Road.

●PEEL ROAD. Closed from 8am on Monday, February 19 to 11.59pm on Sunday, February 25. Alternative route via B764 Eaglesham Road, A726 Queensway and A727 East Kilbride Road.

●B7086 STRATHAVEN ROAD. Closed from Bellscroft Road to C14 Deadwaters from 7am on Wednesday, January 31 to Sunday, February 4. This is the next phase of the 132Kv Scottish Power cable duct installation. Diversion signed along B7086, A71 and B7078 and the closure is in two phases: 1) Bellscroft Road to C116 Boag Road junction; 2) C116 Boag Road junction to C14 Deadwaters.

●REDWOOD DRIVE. In the carriageway, footway and verge for an estimated 20 working days. Work expected to start from between Wednesday, February 7 and Thursday, February 15. Promoter, GTC Pipelines Limited.

●GREENHILLS ROAD. At Eaglesham Road for an estimated 10 working days. Work expected to start from between Monday, February 12 and Friday, May 11. Promoter, South Lanarkshire Council.

●CALDERWOOD ROAD. At various locations for an estimated three working days from Monday, February 5. Promoter, South Lanarkshire Council.

●GREENHILLS ROAD. From Langlands West roundabout to Torrance roundabout for an estimated 10 working days from Monday, February 5. Promoter, South Lanarkshire Council.

●CORNWALL STREET. O/S Bruce Hotel for an estimated 11 working days from Thursday, January 25. Promoter, SGN.

●EAGLESHAM ROAD. From Greenhills Road to Gardenhall roundabout to Ocein Drive for estimated 40 working days from Tuesday, December 12. Promoter, Scottish Power.

●DARVEL ROAD. Near junction of High Brownside and Caldergreen Highway for an estimated one working day from between Monday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 14. Promoter, Openreach.

●KIRK STREET. At No 70 for an estimated six working days from Monday, February 5. Promoter, ScottishWater.
