Men had arranged to meet their attackers
Police cordoned off a section of Westwood Hill on Monday morning after a man was robbed in the street.
The 34-year-old victim had mobile phones stolen from him at around 9.15am after arranging to meet people looking to buy the devices from him.
Cops are also investigating a “similar robbery” at the same location on Saturday at 11am.
Police believe that both of the incidents are connected and that more than one person may have been involved.

The 34-year-old victim had mobile phones stolen from him at around 9.15am after arranging to meet people looking to buy the devices from him.
Police, who were investigating the scene near to Blenheim Avenue, said the incident followed on from a “similar robbery” at the same location on Saturday at 11am.
Another man, also aged 34, was robbed of mobile devices after arranging to meet a potential buyer at Westwood Hill.
No one was injured during the robberies and the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Police believe both incidents are connected and that more than one person may have been involved.
Additional patrols were deployed in the area in a bid to reassure the public.
PC Ian Peebles told the News: “Police are investigating an ongoing incident at Westwood Hill, East Kilbride where a 34-year-old man was deprived of his personal property, namely mobile phones.
“A similar incident took place not far from the location on Saturday, February 10 at 11am in which another 34-year-old male was also robbed of his personal property after arranging to meet persons looking to buy the property from him.
“Persons were reported to have fled the scene on foot and Police Scotland are conducting a full investigation into both events.”
PC Peebles of East Kilbride police added: “There is no cause for any public alarm and additional patrols will be carried out in the area. No persons were injured.”
