The following planning applications were lodged with South Lanarkshire Council for East Kilbride and Avondale between Monday, April 16 and Friday, April 20:

■ Erection of two blocks of flatted dwellings (18 units), associated parking and landscaping, vacant land at 3 Dundas Place, East Kilbride. Applicant, c/o Crawford Architectural.

■Erection of 2 dwellinghouses with associated parking and landscaping, Cathkin Braes reservoir, High Flat Farm Road, Carmunnock. Applicant, Mr Coulter.

■ Installation of disabled access ramp to church, Moncreiff Parish Church, Maxwellton Road, East Kilbride. Applicant, Mr Andrew Gray.

■Use of residential property as a child minding business (maximum number of children being 8), 6 Blackwood, East Kilbride. Applicant, Mrs Joan Wilson.

■Discharge of planning obligation attached to planning consent EK/08/0206 which restricted the occupancy and sale of the dwelling, Eskerview, Broadlees Farm, Glasgow Road, Chapelton. Applicant, Mr Robert Anderson.

■Erection of building adjacent to dwellinghouse for domestic storage, East Coldstream Mill, Coldstream Highway, Strathaven. Applicant, Mr Nick Breddy.
