Hunt is on for fifth boss in five years
The search is on to find East Kilbride’s fifth manager in five years after Billy Stark announced his resignation last week.
During East Kilbride’s spell in the Lowland League every boss has got their hands on silverware.
Iain King and Billy Stark have collected one trophy apiece, while Billy Ogilvie lifted two in one-and-half seasons and Martin Lauchlan won an unprecedented four during a 14-month spell. Only Lauchlan has won the league.
Other than trophies, Ogilvie gained huge plaudits for guidng Kilby to a Scottish Cup last 16 tie with Celtic in 2016 and the following year his replacement Lauchlan earned praise for taking EK on a 30-game winning run that eclipsed Ajax’s world record for consecutive victories.
