Hunter Ladies launch season
Hunter Ladies Bowling Club members were all smiles as they opened their 2018 season at Whitemoss.
Club president Sandra Luxton welcomed members and guests prior to opening the green by throwing the first bowl and there was an impressive turnout for the first day of action.
Hunter Ladies launched back in 1975 to allow women to bowl and although some of the earliest members are now retired they continue to enjoy their bowling.
A club spokeswoman said: “New members are always welcome at the Whitemoss greens.
“And with fees for the full season of only £30 why not come and join the fun?”
Hunter Ladies Bowling Club meet each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.30pm until 8pm.
