16 COMPETITION Survive World Cup with centre’s help

Attractions while the football is on

-

With just one day to go until Russia takes on Saudi Arabia, ‘football, football, football’ seems to be the chant you hear everywhere you go.

If you aren’t a fan of the World Cup but your other half is, you’ll need to put plans in place to survive the next month.

Find out what games your partner plans to watch and ensure you have other things organised, such as meeting friends for dinner in one of The Hub, EK’s fab restaurants.

With most of the games taking place in the early evening and at weekends, why not plan a little ‘me’ time and hit the shops for new outfits to take on holiday this summer?

You can shop until 8pm at selected EK stores every Thursday and Friday.

On days when there are no matches – or none your partner wants to watch – organise to spend some time together. From visiting the ODEON Luxe East Kilbride to having fun on the ice rink, you’ll find the perfect activity in The Hub.

Watching a game but think you will get bored? Pick up a good book to amuse yourself from Waterstones or WHSmith.

And if it all gets too much remember, it’s only four weeks and the tournament happens every four years.

To help you finance those World Cup avoidance plans, why not enter our competition to win a £50 EK, East Kilbride gift card?

To be in with a chance of scooping this great prize, just fill in the voucher with your name, address and telephone number and send your entry to us by Monday at noon.

By entering the competition, you agree your details, in the event of winning, can be passed to EK, East Kilbride and its PR company for use in promotional opportunities.

All winners must agree to be photographed.

Good luck!
