Paterson snapsup quartetof signings
Alan Paterson has made four new signings as East Kilbride Thistle build for West Region League One.
The Jags gaffer is gearing up for the new campaign and persuaded keeper Ross Meldrum, defender Euan Ramsay and strikers Craig Tocher and Johnny Diack to sign on the dotted line.
Paterson and his coaching staff are staying on for another year after talks with the club’s committee.
But the boss knows he won’t have any money to spend.
“Everyone here is amateur,” Paterson said.“There is not one professional contract, while everybody else is spending money.
“But the effort from the boys last season was unbelievable and we stuck together.
“Most of last season’s squad will be retained and we are starting to add to it.
“Players will move on and come in. That’s football.”
