Pairinthedockon crossbowcharge

Two men have appeared in court in connection with an alleged crossbow assault.

Between them Alexander Davidson, 29, of Arden Court, Hamilton and 28-year-old David Paterson, of HMP Addiewell, face charges including discharging a crossbow through a window at a woman, endangering her and other occupants and smashing windows while brandishing a machete.

The alleged incidents happened at an address in Whitehorse Walk, Westwood on December 28.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, the pair appeared from custody and pleaded not guilty.

They were remanded pending trial which has been scheduled to take place on July 17.
