Derby delight for Golds

EKFC’s Under-19 Golds ran out 3-0 winners over the Under-19 Blue side in the league cup semi final.

This was the second time the sides had met on cup duty this season, but it was the Golds who ran out victorious after losing 2-0 earlier in the season.

Playing most of the game with 10 men didn’t hinder the Golds though, as strikes from Kyle Craig, Jack McKenna and Stevie White secured their place in the cup final.

Golds make it five from five

EK’s 2006 Gold side continued their excellent start to the season by making it five wins from five matches.

The squad ran out 7-4 winners against Strathaven Dynamo to keep them at the top of the league.

Reserves beat Binos

The reserve side recorded their second league win on the bounce with an excellent 2-0 display on a wet and windy night away to Stirling Albion.

Jay McInally added to his tally for this season making it two goals in two, with Liam Craig also scoring – this time from the penalty spot.

Next up for the reserve side is a cup tie at home to Airdire. Kick-off is at 7.45pm on Tuesday.
