Sub goalie steals the points
There was late drama for the Golds as substitute goalkeeper Craig Murdoch scored a last-minute winner in a 4-3 victory over Drumsagard U-19s.
With all of Kilby’s other substitues unable to feature due to injury, Murdoch was called upon to save the day.
He didn’t need his gloves, though, and came off the bench to play outfield, delivered the goods with the vital goal to spark wild celebrations.
Strikes from Roman Fox, Kyle Doohan and Jonny Wills also helped the Kilby side in a hard fought victory at Welfare Park.
Blues slip up against leaders
EKFC U-19 Blues suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Calderbraes.
Despite having the bulk of the play, the K-Park side couldn’t claw their way back from an early first half goal.
Next up for the Blues side is a home game against Arthurlie Cantera.
make amends from the last time the sides met with Airdrie running out comfortable 4-0 winners at the Excelsior Stadium.
Reserves out for revenge
The reserve side will look to continue their winning streak with Airdrieonians making the trip to K-Park on Tuesday night in the Challenge Cup.

The under 17 side had a week’s break due to the October Week school holiday.
The side returns to action next week as they look to continue their winning streak against Harmony Row.
