“I’m so very proud of the efforts the girls put in to raising money for the charity, and the Purple Party is no exception. We’re very grateful to the hospital and charity, so getting involved in campaigns like Plaster it Purple is the least we can do.”

Emily added: “Everyone in the hospital is so kind to me and my sister and we want to say ‘thank you.’ We really enjoyed getting dressed up and seeing the Hydro lit up purple at the start of the month – it got us really excited for our Purple Party. Kirsten Sinclair, chief operating officer at Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We’re delighted to have the continuing support of Emma and Emily – not only launching our campaign, but really getting into the spirit of things and throwing what looked like a fantastic Purple Party.

“We’ve seen some fantastic examples of creative fundraising over the course of the month so far from supporters and partners, and we hope it continues until the end of the campaign. We’d encourage everyone to get involved in any way they can and raise money to support our young patients and their families.”
