Two-year-old Jackson wins internet as WWE star Duoface supply charges

WWE superstar Seth Rollins made an East Kilbride tot’s Hallowe’en truly spooktacular by praising the little one’s costume of the grappler on Twitter.

Two-year-old wrestling superfan Jackson Adamson dressed up as the two-time Raw champion for his nursery’s Hallowe’en party.

And his proud mum Jen couldn’t believe her luck when the American star tweeted back to her social media post telling the youngster he was a “better me than me”.

The handmade costume – complete with a Championship title belt – was cleverly crafted from scratch by dad Michael.

Jen told the News Jackson was in his element posing as his hero before showing his costume off to all his friends at Kirktonholme Private Nursery’s Hallowe’en party.

And the 34-year-old from East Mains said: “Jackson is only two but he’s been hooked on WWE wrestling for the last year.

“He knows all the wrestlers names, moves and can rhyme off all their entrance music!

“He loves the Royal Rumble and gets all the energy out his system by wrestling his Lady and the Tramp and Tigger cuddly toys for a couple of hours a day.

“He insisted he wanted to be Seth Rollins for his nursery Halloween party so his dad made the costume from scratch.

“He ironed on the logos, got him a wig, drew on the beard and made the belt. “It turned out really well. “Jackson was in his element holding the championship belt above his head so I took some photos and posted it to Seth Rollins on Twitter.

“I didn’t ever anticipate we would get anything back but he retweeted it and responded saying Jackson was a ‘better me than me’.

“We were all so surprised, it was really nice of him to write back – it made Jackson’s day!”

After Rollins retweeted the post on Sunday, October 28, it went viral – racking up more than 12,000 likes and 1200 shares.

The family plan to treat their little superstar to a WWE match when he’s older.

Jen, who is also mum to daughter Peyton, 4, added: “We just wanted to make our wee boy happy and it’s blew up like this – we can’t believe it.

“Everyone was commenting on the post saying how cute he was.

“Jackson is too young to really understand all this but it will be an excellent story to tell him when he’s older, and nice to look back on.

“I’d love to take him to a WWE wrestling match when he’s a bit bigger so he can fully appreciate it.

“If Jackson could get away with dressing likeRollins every day he would do it – we had to bargain with him to take the costume off!”

And wrestling fans loved the homage to the WWE star.

One wrote: “Awww that’s so sweet and adorable – a mini Seth Rollins.”

Another commented: “Awww that is so cute! What a nice compliment Seth!”

A third said: “That is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen so adorable.”

Another post read: “The littlest kingslayer this is so awesome looking cool lil’ man awesome job.”

And another fan said: “It’s awesome – plus he made ringside news which is awesome.”
