Golds win 10-goal thriller

Saturday afternoon produced a 10 goal thriller as Kilby’s under-19 Golds ran out 6-4 winners against top of the table Calderbrae­s.

The Golds found themselves 2-0 down but they turned things around to grab three points away from home.

Star man Lee Bowers bagged four fantastic goals with Declan Percy and Kyle Craig also getting on the scoresheet.

Quarter-final looms for Blues

A Scottish Cup quarter-final beckons for the under -19 Blues after they defeated Spartans 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Four different scorers secured their place in the next round with McLaughlin, Muntenge, Taylor and Peden all chipping in with the goals.

Cup cruise for under-17s

A comfortabl­e 5-0 victory for the under 17s against Prestwick Community FC ensured the side reached the last eight of the Scottish Cup.

Goals from Hill, Rossiter, MacDonald, Marshall and an own goal helped the talented teens into the next stage of the competitio­n.

Reserves face table toppers

With a break from league duty last week, the reserve side were due to face Livingston last night in a top of the table clash, the final league game before the mid-season break.

Help out at K-Park

EKFC are looking for volunteers to help out on match day covering a range of tasks, pre kick-off.

Roles include turnstile operators, stewards, programme sellers, car park attendants, raffle ticket and merchandis­e sellers.
