Walking Group: The walk on Wednesday, November 13 will be a linear one from Port Dundas along the Forth/Clyde Canal to Maryhill Burgh Halls where we shall have coffee. We shall return to Port Dundas the same way. Everyone welcome and we leave at the usual time of 10am.

Be part of Tearfund’s Big Quiz. On Saturday, November 16 at 7.30pm in the Carswell Centre, we are hosting Tearfund’s Big Quiz along with 600 other churches all over the UK.

An Evening of Song with the Stonehouse Male Voice Choir: will take place on Friday November 22 at 7.30 pm.

On Wednesday, November 13 at 1.30pm, our speaker is from Seema’s Project, one of our chosen projects for this year.

It aims to help abandoned children in Pune, India, and to rehabilita­te the victims of human traffickin­g.

PANTO CLUB

Tickets are now on sale for the forthcomin­g Greenhills Panto Club, now in its 29th year.

The new production is Rapunzel and will be in the Village Theatre from Wednesday, December 11 to Saturday, December 14, nightly at 7.30pm plus a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

UNSILENCE VIOLENCE

The Unsilence Violence march is on Thursday, November 21.

Organised by Councillor Fiona Dryburgh, the march will leave the church at 6.30pm.

All welcome for refreshmen­ts/banner making in the church from 5.30pm.

The march is to Greenhills parish church and will arrive around 7.30pm for refreshmen­ts.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS WORKSHOP

Between 10am and 3pm on the November 23 in the Main Church is the spiritual gifts workshop. It costs £10 and includes a light lunch.

This is a great opportunit­y for EMBC church family to discover their spiritual gifts.

It will be a fun, experienti­al workshop doing lots of practice led by Angela Thomson Community Pastor with many years’ experience in leading prophetic workshops from Westerhail­es Church and Joyce Nicol (Leslie Baptist Church).

Come expecting and leave knowing what your gifts are and having stepped into them.

Pre booking by Monday, November 18 is essential and to book your place please speak to Mary Withers, Colin Campbell or Nicola MacGregor.

CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY FUNDRAISER

The dinner and ceilidh fundraiser is on Friday, November 22.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Doors are at 7.30pm in the Ballerup Hall, East Kilbride.

Entertainm­ent is provided by the Jiggered ceilish band.
