Alexandra to headline Hamilton ladies’ night

Alexandra Burke is set to be the queen of the night at Hamilton Park’s most hotly anticipated night of the season – Boë Violet Gin Ladies’ Night.
The chart-topping star will take to the stage ahead of the evening’s racing on August 1 to perform some of her hits including Bad Boys and Start Without You as well as her record-breaking rendition of Hallelujah.
Alexandra rose to fame after winning the fifth series of The X-Factor in 2008 and currently stands as one of the most successful winners of the show selling well over four million records in the UK alone.
After winning The X Factor, Alexandra has achieved major chart success and has starred in numerous stage musicals including Chess, Chicago and The Bodyguard, the latter of which saw her successfully tour the UK in the iconic role of Rachel Marron.
She also had a successful run on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, where she made it to the final of the 2017 series.

The news comes following the announcement that Capital FM breakfast presenter and ‘I’m a Celebrity’ star Roman Kemp is also set to appear at the flagship event having signed up to perform an exclusive DJ set after the on-track action has finished.
Ashley added: “We’ve got a fantastic evening planned and we can’t wait to reveal more exciting details about what we have lined-up with further additions to the line-up still to come.”
