Pump specialists now able to plan for future

A specialist East Kilbride company has secured a multi-million pound contract that will help further its expansion.
Hayward Tyler Fluid Handling will now develop a prototype valve for a nuclear plant operator in the UK.
All going well with the nuclear contract, the College Milton company now has the potential to produce up to 150 further units
Managing director Paul Noble told the News: “This is a landmark contract for our business and is testimony to the hard work, expertise and commitment to collaborative working demonstrated by the team.
“Hayward Tyler is enjoying a growing reputation for its specialist capabilities in this sector and we look forward to getting underway with the programme.”

They specialise in the supply, design, manufacture, service and support of specialised motors, pumps and mixers.
Avingtrans manufactures and supplies original equipment, systems and associated aftermarket services to the energy, medical and industrial markets worldwide.
