Paedo hit with more restrictions Kennedy was back in court

FRASER WILSON

A paedophile snared by an online vigilante group has had new conditions added to his sentence after concerns were raised to the court.

And that included having no contact with a named individual without the consent of his supervising officer.

Pervert Christopher Kennedy was given a two year supervision order as an alternative to custody last June. He was also put on the sex offender’s register for a period of two years.

But last week Sheriff Alasdair MacFadyen added more restrictions to his community payback order after reports were made against Kennedy.

The 31-year-old was snared last year when thought he was talking to a 14-yearold schoolgirl – he was in fact speaking to a decoy set up by United 4 the Kids.

The News previously told you how the scumbag made contact with the would-be teen on an adult dating and gaming site, admitting he was 30-years old at the time.

The decoy started the conversation telling him her age, but that didn’t stop him trying to woo the youngster and mobile numbers were exchanged.

Conversations on WhatsApp followed, which quickly became sexual with Kennedy telling the decoy they were “just between me and you”.

He asked for a picture and when they sent one of a teenage girl, Kennedy replied “nice and sexy”. Court previously heard how Kennedy sent inappropriate material to the decoy and repeatedly asked intimate questions.

The desperate perv asked the girl: “When you grow up – do you want to go with me – be my girlfriend, when you are 20?”

He also told the supposed teen that he was “just watching TV and playing with myself over your pic baby,” before suggesting he sent her pornographic videos and asking her to masturbate.

He used five different mobile numbers, including his mother’s.

Sheriff MacFadyen also told Kennedy he must possess no more than one mobile phone, one desktop computer, one laptop computer and one external hard drive.

Kennedy was also told he must not access the Internet using any other device without prior approval of his supervising officer – that was the same for access to social media accounts or mobile apps.

A further review of his case will be held on October 14.

Kennedy was allowed to try and groom kids from his family home along with his brother, William.

The shameful pair both sent content from their mother’s address in Mount Cameron Drive North at the time, even using her mobile phone to send the messages.

William Kennedy was also convicted of trying to meet up with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl in July 2018 and was arrested just days after his brother Christopher.

But the brothers were both duped by separate online paedophile hunter groups who used decoys to snare the pair.
