Follow our tips to look after your furniture properly

Maintain wooden outdoor furniture by rubbing with clear hardwood oil for an extra layer of protection against weathering. Apply to clean, dry wood and let the oil soak in for several hours before removing any excess with a clean cloth.

● Cover up

Invest in a protective cover if your garden furniture is kept outside during the winter months. This will help to extend its life but be sure to check regularly for holes or rips to prevent damage.

● Smart storage

Consider buying a handy garden storage bench or trunk to keep seat pads and outdoor cushions dry when not in use. Choose a design with a flat top so it can then double up as extra seating if needed.
