FLIGHT OF FANCY

Pale silvery-pink and greens bring a feeling of warmth to Hannah’s bedroom. She chose this ‘Badminton’ Chinoiserie design (hand-painted on sterling silver gilded paper with rose antiquing) for the scheme and added fabrics and furnishings in complementary tones. She found the soft pink linen duvet, pillowcases and ‘ Vice Versa’ throw in ‘Pale Rosewood’ by Maison de Vacances at The Conran Shop, and layered them with decorative cushions covered in De Gournay silk on her Louis XVI bed. The chest of drawers, also vintage, is paired with a ‘Beaux-arts French’ mirror from The French Bedroom Company. On top of it sits a ‘Lighthouse’ table lamp (see previous page) from Guinevere and a ‘Gio Smoke’ vase from India Jane.
