David Studwell often uses figures that are synonymous with certain eras, in particular the swinging sixties. Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Steve McQueen all crop up in his prints, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia. His work has been exhibited in London and the USA.
