For the past three years, street artist Lakwena MacIver has been brightening up streets from Vienna to Vegas with colourful graphic murals.

‘I can’t get too attached,’ says Lakwena, ‘you never know when they’ll be knocked down or painted over!’ Elsewhere, Bristol street artist 45RPM has made a name for himself by tagging the city with cheerful cartoons, while Camille Walala transforms drab concrete walls across the UK with bright geometric designs (pictured below). Artist and founder of Obey clothing Shepard Fairey recently completed his biggest ever mural in Sydney — find his work closer to home at the Envision Peace mural in north London.
