Chilled champagne, cool cocktails, canapés and inspiring views: no, not a throwback to our holiday, but the scene of the ELLE September launch party. In the Pompadour Room and terrace of the Hotel Café Royal, we started the season of September fashionmonth parties in style. From the British Fashion Council’s Caroline Rush to Ruth Chapman, Molly Goddard, Simone Rocha and a host of fashion insiders, the industry came together to raise a glass of Champagne Louis Roederer to editor-in-chief Anne-Marie Curtis and her new vision for ELLE. We made the most of the last of the warm evenings with Brighton Gin cocktails Bramb’Elle’ and British Mule, served on the roof terrace overlooking the hustle and bustle of Regent Street.
