Formula One, Italian Grand Prix reach new Monza agreement
The organisers behind the Italian Grand Prix have announced that they have reached a new agreement with Formula One to keep the national race at the Monza circuit until 2024.
Monza, situated just north of Milan, has held more F1 races than any other track in the competition’s history, with the new deal set to maintain this status ahead of the upcoming 70th edition of the Italian Grand Prix.
The announcement comes as talks over the British Grand Prix continue, the future of which remains in doubt beyond 2019 due to ongoing discussions.
