AS WITH ANY true-crime documentary, the pertinent question here is: is it going to tell me definitely whether or not she’s guilty? The answer is — sort of. Although if you’re expecting a meticulous dig through the forensic evidence or exposé of the police interrogation tactics, you won’t find it here. They are part of the narrative, but with just a slender running time of 90 minutes in which to also examine the salacious trial by media and take in insights from Amanda Knox, her co-accused, Raffaele Sollecito, lead investigator Giuliano Mignini and odious hack Nick Pisa, who covered the trial, it’s a speedy tour through eight years of italian justice. Or lack thereof.
