SINS OF OMISSION

As one of your youngest oldest readers (68), I cringe at your Top 100. Perhaps you should have two polls, one for anyone over 50 and the other for under 50! La La Land? Come on! Thank God for Paul Greengrass. Some omissions: The Battle Of Algiers, Sunset Boulevard, Double Indemnity, The Long Good Friday… to name a few. I could go on.

Sorry for raising your blood pressure. Only time will tell if La La Land is a flash in the tap-dancing pan, or whether it will remain as beloved in years to come. In the meantime, it’s good to see new films vying for space with stone-cold classics.
