UK brand looks back to present DK88 collection —

Not one to ignore its heritage, Burberry has released a collection of bags named after the house code of the brand’s famous honeycoloured gabardine cloth. The new “trench” leather is treated to make it like the fabric used in the brand’s most famous creation, and is employed in a bag series, the standout being a hefty overnight tote. The oversized hardware and “painterly” colour palette give the collection a vintage feel, while remaining modern yet timeless and unmistakably British.
