MY STYLE

-

Best style advice you’ve ever received? Trust your tailor and be comfortable. Style mistakes you hate to see? It’s not for me to judge, I like it when people express themselves. Best item of clothing you ever inherited? A Nineties denim jacket by

Helmut Lang. Worst piece of clothing you’ve ever worn? I remember back when I was at secondary school and my mum got me a Maharishi jacket, because I wanted to be cool. But it was three sizes too big. However, I look back and wish I still had it because it would be so cool now. What are your favourite brands? I like comfortable, minimal clothes. Nothing too fussy. T-shirts from Fanmail, APC jeans. But I also love Italian tailoring: Corneliani, Brunello Cucinelli, Brioni. And your fictional style icon? Alain Delon’s Tom Ripley in Purple Noon

(1960), the original The Talented Mr Ripley. It’s the most stylish film ever.
