Heiress wins mansion fight
THE millionaire daughter of late chocolate magnate Klaus Jacobs has won her planning battle to demolish a Thirties mansion which was once home to artist Damien Hirst.
Lavinia Jacobs had upset her neighbours with the plans to replace the six-bedroom house near Richmond Park with a “contemporary style” villa. Wandsworth councillors voted to approve the development by six to two, with two abstentions.
