PASSENGERS LEFT STRANDED BY COLLAPSE OF COBALT AIR

Cobalt Air, a Cypriot airline based in Larnaca, collapsed this week after lastditch attempts to find funding failed.

The collapse has stranded around 10,000 passengers and about 100,000 people have forward bookings. The airline flew from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester to Larnaca, as well as from Gatwick to Athens.
