Hartley unlikely to risk forward

-

DunDee manager Paul Hartley is unlikely to risk striker Kane Hemmings at Alloa Athletic this evening.

But it’s understood the frontman will be on the plane that leaves edinburgh for Munich on Sunday, bound for t h e c l u b ’s pre-season training base in the Austrian mountains.

The Dark Blues make the trip to Recreation Park with Hemmings carrying an injury picked up while he was away for the summer.

After close monitoring by the Dens Park medical staff, Hemmings was not picked either in the starting XI or on the bench for Tuesday night’s 2-1 friendly win at Dumbarton.

The englishman, linked with a move away from the club this summer, was also absent from the behindclosed-doors meeting with Greenock Morton this time last week.

With Hemmings failing to shake off the knock, it’s likely Rory Loy and Yordi Teijsse will be handed the chance to i mpress in tonight’s forward line.

Danny Williams and Mark O’Hara are again likely to get minutes while James Vincent is rated as touchand-go for the clash.

His knock is also understood to not be too serious. Instead, his recent absence is believed to be cautionary.

elsewhere, Paul McGowan, new club captain James McPake, who has only just returned to the club after a short break, and nicky Low remain out.

It’s believed that trio will be on the plane, also.

news i s still awaited on Calvin Colquhoun who was taken off at Dumbarton on a stretcher after just four minutes on the park i n midweek.
