Bleachers in raid on Saints players

AFTER their spell in abeyance, Luncarty return to the North League with their new co-managment team of Jon Kelly and Richie Montgomery.

The duo are making their presence felt with a number of notable signings, several of whom were playing in the Super League with St Andrews last season.

Arriving from Saints are full-back Danny Dobbie and striker Paddy Deane.

Darren Kelly has also joined the Bleachers after spending half of last season with St Andrews before leaving in mid-season to join Kinnoull.

Also signed are defender Jamie Reid and attacking midfielder Jamie McKenzie, who both had spells with Jeanfield Swifts, while striker Richard Doig lists Kinnoull, Jeanfield and Scone Thistle as former clubs.

Joining from the amateur ranks are defender Liam Bruce, wide midfielder Dan Walker and striker Andy Kirk. This brings the Luncarty squad to 17. Kinnoull and Scone Thistle both play friendlies against amateur sides tomorrow.

Kinnoull will play hosts to St John’s Amateurs, while Thistle are away to Ballinluig.

Striker Paddy Deane has joined Luncarty.
