Holly helps group

-

EVENTS management student Holly Malley, 21, used newly acquired skills to organise and run a charity race night that amassed an amazing £1,000 for the Fintry Community Playgroup.

Holly, who lives in Balmuir Road and studies at Dundee & Angus College, is going into the last year of her studies and fancied some practical experience of running a special event.

She said: “I like doing things for charity and I’m fond of children because I’ve got little cousins and a little brother, Keane, who’s 10.

“So doing something for the playgroup seemed the right thing to do.”

Holly’s event was helped by local businesses who donated raffle prizes and was held in the Dolphin Bar, Fintry.

Treasurer of the selffunded playgroup, Margaret Farquharson, said: “We’re over the moon at what Holly’s done for the group.”
