Return welcomed

IT’S good to see that the two Oor Wullie statues which were vandalised are ready to be returned to public display (see page 16).

Those responsible have simply wasted everyone’s time and offended city folk who have been getting into the spirit of the trail.

It’s easy to see why Dundonians have taken these attacks to heart. The sculptures have been a great source of pride which draw visitors from all over.

These statues were created with the intent of bringing people together in enjoyment and raising funds for a good cause.

Let’s make the most of the trail.
