Crash pensioner dies
A PENSIONER has died in hospital almost two weeks after being injured in a road accident in Edinburgh.
The crash occurred on Saturday September 17 at around 11.10am on Newcraighall Road, opposite the fire station.
A black Mazda MX5 travelling eastbound collided with a black Hyundai at traffic lights.
The 65-year-old driver of the Mazda was taken to hospital in Glasgow, where he died on Wednesday. Police have asked for witnesses to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
