Apples wanted

THE team behind a Perthshire community garden project is appealing for donations of apples for a special celebration next month.

The event i n Coupar Angus will give visitors and locals the chance to make their own fruit juice.

Participants are urged to drop off eating or dessert apples in advance, outside the town’s community-run High Street shop.

The fruit will be pressed and juiced from 10am to 2pm on October 15, also the day of the Coupar Angus market.

People are i nvited to take along screw-capped bottles to collect their juice.
