Warning sign stuck with me

WE were discussing speeding drivers when I remembered a sign that used to greet you as you entered Dundee from Perth.

It read something like ‘Slow down. It’s better to arrive late than dead on time’.

When I was a young girl I thought it was a clever message though my mum thought it was ghoulish. However, it has stuck in my head for many a year, so it did its job. Does anyone else remember this?
