Is NHS taken for granted?

I HAD an appointment with my GP.

On the waiting room wall there was a notice saying that in the previous month 71 patients failed to keep a doctor’s appointment and 57 missed an appointment with a nurse. Someone said the 128 people probably forgot.

These figures are just from one surgery. How many more appointments are missed? Is this the NHS being taken for granted?
