Dancers donate to Fairy Box appeal
THE Perth-based Diane Lambert School of Highland Dancing donated the proceeds from their recent annual dance display to the Per th Royal Infirmary/ Ninewells Hospital Fairy Box Appeal.
The head of paediatric nursing, Jeanette Fitzgerald (seated centre) accepted a £460 cheque from dancers who attend the school.
The Fairy Box appeal provides gifts for children who are spending time in hospital and was launched 11 years ago.
A Fairy Box is filled with donated gifts and kept on the children’s ward in hospitals where parents and medical staff have access to a gift to brighten up the day of a child in need of a lift.
Fairy Box has provided support and encouragement to many sick children in hospitals throughout Scotland.
