Woman robbed

A PAIR of thieves have robbed a 62-year-old Fife woman in her own home, police revealed.

Officers have appealed for informatio­n after the robbery in Alexander Street, Dysart, which happened on Tuesday. The incident took place at around 8.45am. Jewellery and a money box containing a four-figure sum of cash were stolen.

One suspect is described as male, approximat­ely 40 years old, 5ft 10ins, and of skinny build. He had a local accent and was wearing a blue hooded top.

The second suspect was described as being shorter than the first and also skinny. The person, who may have been male or female, was wearing a cream baseball cap and according to the witness spoke with a “squeaky” voice.
