Bricks build their way to success

THE Recreational League Cup i n the Perth and District Volleyball League came to an end at Bell’s.

In the Section One round-robin games, Hitting Bricks finished top of t heir section. Kinross Mongrels qualified as runners-up.

In Section Two, Hits & Giggles finished top with Plus Perth runners-up.

Hits & Giggles beat Mongrels to qualify for the final, The other semi was close, Plus Perth edging the first set 21-19 with Hitting Bricks 20-11 up as the final whistle sounded. The rally went on with Plus Perth knowing winning it would see them through to the final. However, Bricks won the vital point meaning both had won one set with Bricks having better set points difference.

In the final, Bricks won the first set 21-16. Hits & Giggles fought back but time ran out with them leading 19-16.
