Parents, carers and potential participants are i nv i t e d to attend on Monday October 24 between 6.30pm and 8pm.
The event offers an opportunity f or young people aged 14 to 25 to become involved.
It is aimed at young people who didn’t get the chance to take part with their school or voluntary organisation.
There are three levels of Duke of Edinburgh Award — bronze, silver and gold.
Each level has four sections — volunteering, physical, skill and expedition — with gold also having a residential section.
While there is a minimum time applied to gain the award, it is up to the individual to decide how long they take to complete it.
