Missing prisoner traced
AN inmate who absconded from Castle Huntly Prison near Dundee four days ago has been found by police.
David Arthur, 31, did not return to the prison i n Longforgan after being released on a temporary period of leave.
Police said Arthur had convictions for violence and warned members of the public not to approach him. He was found in the Paisley area.
Meanwhile, police have renewed their appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 41-yearold Mark Chung who also absconded from Castle Huntly.
He was reported missing at 10am on Monday October 3.
It is believed that Chung has connections i n the Glasgow and Merseyside areas.
He is described as 5ft 9in tall, of stocky build with a shaved head. He speaks with a Merseyside accent.
When last seen he was wearing glasses, a grey sweatshirt, grey jogging bottoms and black and grey trainers.
