Beer spill closes road
A MAN was taken to hospital after a lorry crashed and spilled beer kegs across a motorway near Edinburgh.
The incident happened at 11.30am yesterday at the Hermiston Gait junction on the M8 when an HGV and a silver van collided. More than 30 kegs of beer reportedly fell from the lorry, causing the road to be partially closed for around three hours.
A man was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not thought to be serious.
