Intention to commit theft charge denied

-

TWO women were found inside the home of a 76-year-old woman without permission, it is alleged.

Alison Devlin, 31, and Kimberly Whyte, 34, are both accused of being found inside a property at Rosebank Street, Dundee, on March 31 this year.

The women, both of Jessie Devlin Close House, Soapwork Lane, are charged with intent to commit theft at the property.

They both deny that, while acting together, they were found inside a property on Rosebank Street belonging to an elderly lady, without permission, therefore inferring that they intended to commit theft there.

Both accused denied the charge against them at the city’s sheriff court and will stand trial on January 11.

An intermediate diet will be held on December 20.
