False report to police

ANDREW Mason, 20, of Dunholm Terrace, had sentence deferred at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Mason admitted that, on January 31, at his home address, he falsely reported to two police constables that his home had been broken into and vandalised. The court heard he made the false report to police after he had broken two windows himself because he was worried about losing tenancy of the property.

Sentence was deferred until November 1.
