Halloween parade returns

-

A GRAND parade will return to Perth city centre to mark Halloween.

The procession is one of a number of events announced by Perth and Kinross Council for the spooky season.

The local authority decided to build on the event following the success of l a s t y e a r ’s Halloween festival.

John Kellas, convener of enterprise and infrastructure, said:“Halloween events were a new addition to the calendar last year, and were a resounding success.

“It’s fantastic to see both Zombie Horroween and Family Halloween Night, featuring the Grand Halloween Parade, return to Perth city this year.

“Both events are a great opportunity to get dressed up and celebrate the spookiest time of the year.”

Zombie Horroween will take place on October 28 from 6pm in King Edward Street and St John’s Street, Perth.

Visitors will be able to try their luck in the zombie maze, take selfies with a zombie, and enjoy live music from band The Kill.
