Training break for West End player/boss

FORFAR West End are hosts to North Region Premier League side Culter in the Scottish Cup.

West End have been dealt a blow with player/manager Daryl McKenzie suffering a fractured foot during Monday night’s training session.

That means he will only be able to carry out the managerial side of his duties for around six weeks and he joins several other players on the treatment table. Back in the squad is goalkeeper Daryl Burns.

Luncarty entertain North Region side Fraserburg­h.

The Bleachers have a number of players having treatment and will make a late selection.

Scone Thistle make the long journey to Inverness City without Fraser Mills, who is unavailabl­e.

On the credit side, Abi Njie returns.

Brechin Vics will have to buck the odds to reach round three. The Angus side are at home to unbeaten Premier League leaders Sauchie.

Their task is made all the harder as they are without injured trio Ryan Milne, Sam Wood and Paul Tosh.

On the plus side, Conor Mitchell returns and their squad also includes new signing Ryan Young, who is an attacking midfielder.

In-form Kinnoull host West of Scotland District League Second Division side Glasgow Perthshire. The visitors are third top of their league.

EAST Craigie face a North League match at Thornton. Nik Mann is suspended.
