-

S T J O H N S TO N E a r e looking to bounce back from their 1-0 home loss to Kilmarnock when Dundee call in at McDiarmid Park for Sunday’s noon kick-off.

The Perth men played well in the first half against Killie but not so well in the second and lost a game they felt they should have won.

“The Killie game was frustrating but it’s over now and we have Dundee on Sunday,” said Saints’ team boss Tommy Wright.

“There should be a good crowd creating a fine atmosphere.

“Dundee are likely to bring a big support and the match is live on TV.

“It presents us with the chance to collect three points.

“We have no fresh injuries and the players have done a good week’s training so we are raring to go.

“Dundee may be bottom of the Premiership but we don’t take any notice of that.

“They were very unlucky in their 2-0 loss away to Hearts and we have a hard task in front of us.”

The Dundee game is the first of three in seven days for the Perth men.

They go to Ibrox to face Rangers on Wednesday and then are at home to Par tick Thistle a week tomorrow.

Ta m S c o b b i e , Ke i t h Watson and Ally Gilchrist are still missing from the Saints line-up against the Dark Blues due to injury with Scobbie set to be the first to return.

He could face Rangers in the Development League on Tuesday at Stirling Albion’s Forthbank (7pm).
