Lochee go on rampage after the break

LOCHEE United won 6-0 at Aberdeen East End with five of their goals coming i n the second half.

Bryan Deasley gave them a half-time lead then Reece Ritchie added a second in 56 minutes. Kris Rollo added a third 10 minutes later and this was followed by a double from Scott McComiskie and another from Deasley.

Downfield are also through with their 1-0 win over Nairn St Ninian’s much more comfortabl­e than the score suggests.

Kevin Milne fired in what proved to be the winner after the break.

North End are back on the goal trail after a 5-0 win over Wishaw.

Gary Sutherland and Dayle Robertson both scored doubles with Willie Johnstone also finding the net.

There will be no cup glory for Tayport this season, after they made their exit following a 2-0 defeat at Blantyre Vics.

The Fifers best chance came in 72 minutes when they were awarded a penalty at 2-0 down but Jamie Mackie’s spot-kick was saved.

Lochee Harp took a 3-1 lead against Maryhill but the Glasgow side hit back to win 5-3.

Derryn Kesson scored a double and Ryan McKillen was also on target for Harp.

In the North League, East Craigie lost 2-0 at Thornton.

RESULT of the week: SCONE THISTLE deserve credit for coming from 2-0 down to win 5-2 at Inverness City.
